Enrollment Information

We are excited to start the application process to be considered for enrollment for our Early Learning Center for the 21-22 school year! Any family with children that will be 4 by August 31, 2021, residing within the Basehor-Linwood School District boundaries can apply for preschool for our 2021-2022 school year which will begin on our first day of school, August 17, 2021.  We will also be accepting applications for students who will be 3 by August 31, 2021.  The three-year-old program will be provided if space and resources are available.


Basehor-Linwood Early Learning Center Program Facts:

  • 1/2 day, 5 days a week (Program follows the district calendar minus 1 Friday a month for early learning screenings)

  • Morning Session - 8:15 - 11:00 

  • Afternoon Session - 12:30 - 3:15

  • Evidence-Based and Developmentally Appropriate Instruction

  • Inclusive classrooms

  • Sensory Room

  • Students enrolled in the tuition-based program need to be potty trained prior to attending.
  • Parents must be able to provide transportation to and from the building

  • Updated immunizations, proof of residency, and birth certificate must be on file before the 1st day of school


Pricing:

  • $250/month (August-May) Paid on the 15th of each month

  • Waived tuition fees for students residing in USD 458 boundaries and eligible for the Kansas Preschool-Aged At-Risk Program

  • Enrollment fee of $60

In addition to the application, we ask that you complete the Ages & Stages Screenings (ASQ-3 & ASQ-SE) for each child at the time of your application. The screenings can be completed at the following link:

Students will be placed according to the order that applications are received, returning students, special education needs, at-risk qualifications, and space availability. After completing the application to enroll, families will hear back from the ELC if their application to enroll was approved or if their child will be placed on the waitlist. If approved to enroll, families will need to complete the official enrollment process (information to be provided during notification).
