We are the Basehor-Linwood Early Learning Center (ELC) parent-teacher organization (PTO) that works towards connecting the children, families, and staff of the Early Learning Center (ELC) through events, class parties, and appreciation celebrations. We accomplish this through fundraising and donations of time, materials, and funds from our community, staff, families, and members.  We strive to develop closer connections between the Early Learning Center (ELC) and home by encouraging family involvement, enhancing the educational experience by supporting academic and enrichment activities, and improving the environment at the Early Learning Center (ELC) by providing volunteer and financial support.

It is easy to get involved with your child's school through our PTO. All parents and teachers are automatically members of the Basehor-Linwood ELC PTO. In addition to a membership fee, donations are always welcome. All money stays within the local organization. In addition to being part of an active and meaningful organization, you will receive a student directory which is published yearly.

 

Basehor-Linwood ELC PTO functions with an Executive Board (elected yearly), Committee Chairs (volunteer positions renewed yearly), and Members. Meetings are held monthly and all members are encouraged to attend.

 

Many volunteers are needed to help the Basehor-Linwood ELC PTO remain a successful and important part of the educational experience of Basehor-Linwood ELC students. There are many levels of involvement, so please join us and become part of an amazing team!
