Basehor-Linwood Early Childhood Special Education is designed for children 3 to 5 years of age who qualify for special education services in areas such as cognitive development; physical development; communication/literacy; social-emotional/behavior; and, adaptive behavior/self-help skills. This program is free of cost and transportation is provided.

If you have concerns with your child’s development in at least one of the following areas: cognitive development; physical development; communication/literacy; social-emotional/behavior; adaptive behavior/self-help skills, the first step is to have your child attend a “Count Your Kid In” screening (CYKI).
